Amazing album. Have seen them perform live and twas glorious; even better I will say!
Favorite track: Emergence (Penetration of The Froth Plug).

They had me at "Penetration of the Froth Plug." Also it's a concept album about locusts in which the vocalist goes by the name "Brood Mother." This is the most metal thing I've seen all year.

Dark, evil and a whole lot of great. Black Metal is an ever changing sound and when you begin to mix in the depth of Doom you get albums like this, albums that just master an absolutely destructive force.
Favorite track: Volitation (They Hover Above In Endless Droves).

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
Incredible how one man can compose such a thing. Beautiful. Today's one-man bands (or projects) are to me contemporary composers comparable to those from the old times like Wagner, plus they are their own orchestra... WolfGang
